In 17 years in public service, Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has compiled a distinguished record of achievement as a political leader and public manager. It is with great sorrow and sadness that my brothers and I announce the passing away of our father, 2LT ANTONIO 'TONY' DURMIENDO last June 24, 2010. He was a member of the PSG unit throughout President Ferdinand Marcos' term.
He was very proud to have been of service to the First family. It has always been his wish to once again meet you and your mother, now Congresswoman Imelda Romualdez Marcos.
My brothers and I would greatly appreciate it, if even after his death, you can grant his wish this one last time and honor him with your presence.
His remains lie in state at the Philippine Air Force Mortuary, St. John Chapel, Villamor Air Base, Pasay City. Interment will be on June 29, Tuesday at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, Taguig City.
